CDS Life Transitions Appoints New Director of Operations at Unistel Industries
WEBSTER, NY – CDS Life Transitions announces the appointment of Chad Williams to the position of Director of Operations for its affiliate Unistel Industries.

In this role, Williams will have oversight of the operation and programs at Unistel Industries, ensuring quality products and services are provided. Additionally, he will be responsible for bringing together the dynamic subject matter experts throughout Unistel’s departments to meet the expectations of Unistel’s customers, strengthen Unistel’s mission, and continue to provide a high level of quality support to the individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities so that they can meet their employment and personal life goals.
This announcement of this appointment falls during National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), which is “an opportunity to not only celebrate our team members, but to educate others about the immense value that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) bring to the workforce,” says Andrew Sewnauth, CEO of CDS Life Transitions.
Prior to his appointment, Williams, who has been with CDS Life Transitions for 17 years, had first-hand knowledge of the value employing individuals with I/DD brings to an organization. He served as Associate Director of Employment Services with Unistel.
“These individuals bring so many strengths,” notes Williams, adding, “The one thing I have seen is the willingness to get the job done. It seems that no matter the task, these individuals put their best foot forward. They put their heart into their work; and, at the end of the day, they meet the deadlines, quotas, or productions demands set forth for them.”
Williams said that the best part of his work will always be working with the individuals they support. However, he said he has had the chance to “dive into something completely different than what I have done for the past 17 years, and it has been a lot of fun!”
