17th Annual Strikes for Abilities Bowling Party Rolls Into Town: Charity Fundraising Event Aims to Support Services for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Webster, N.Y. – For the seventeenth straight year, the CDS Wolf Foundation is inviting the community to take part in its Strikes for Abilities Bowling Party to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the services that empower them to thrive. The event is taking place this year on Sunday, February 25th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Bowlero Empire, 2400 Empire Blvd, Webster, N.Y.
“Anyone in the community who is looking for a fun and impactful way to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities should consider joining us for the Strikes for Abilities Bolwing Party, either as a sponsor or a team of bowlers,” says David Greenman, Executive Director of the CDS Wolf Foundation. “This is such a great event. It is always wonderful to see everyone interacting and having a fun-filled afternoon of bowling for a cause.”
The event features multiple games of bowling for teams of five, prizes, and pizza and drinks. Proceeds from the event benefit community living opportunities, residential improvements and other unfunded areas of need for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities CDS Monarch serves.
“We are very excited about the prizes we are giving out this year. There is jewelry, gift cards, tickets to theater and sporting events, and apparel. We are thankful to everyone who donated items,” says Greenman.
Although the event is just under a month away, Greenman points out that there is still time to register teams of five bowlers for the afternoon event.
“We are also seeking sponsors to join us as well. We are here for the Greater Rochester community, and welcome their participation,” says Greenman.
