CDS Monarch Day Habilitation and Prevocational Services Reopen
It is with great excitement that we share CDS Monarch has reopened our Day Habilitation and Prevocational services effective Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020!
All of our sites are currently limiting capacity, while continuing to provide socialization groups, community inclusion activities and much more to the individuals we serve!
In accordance with guidance released from OPWDD, CDS Monarch has put into place Safety Plans for both Prevocational sites (Hard Road and Blossom Road) as well as WCO, BCO, LCO, and PCO. These plans include vigorous cleaning and sanitation regimens, daily screenings for COVID-19 symptoms before individual arrivals, transportation offered at 50% capacity for vehicles, and many other precautions.

Reopening Day Habilitation is critical for CDS Monarch at this time due to a loss of state funds, effective July 21st. Without state aid, services across NYS (including CDS Monarch) may face permanent closure in the COVID-19 environment.
