CDS Life Transitions Announces Leadership Promotion on Compliance and Qaulity Improvement Team

Webster, N.Y. – CDS Life Transitions is proud to announce the promotion of James Velazquez to the position of Vice President of Compliance and Quality Improvement.

In this role, James will provide oversight of the Compliance and Quality Improvement (QI) Programs for CDS Life Transitions. James will oversee these programs for the Compliance/QI Departments at CDS Monarch and Prime Care Coordination. His role will also expand into CDS Housing, CDS Rx, Warrior Salute Veterans Services, CDS Veterans Support Services, CDS Wolf Foundation, and Unistel under CDS Life Transitions Corporate Compliance.

Since joining CDS Monarch in 2010, James has most recently served as the Director of Compliance & Quality Improvement for eight years. Before joining the Compliance and Quality Improvement Team, he served as the Director of Person-Centered Services, overseeing operations of Residential and Day Habilitation programs for CDS Monarch. James holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Brockport State University. Additionally, he achieved certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) through the Health Care Compliance Association in 2025.
