CDS Rx Pharmacy at Hard Road authorized to accept Medicaid

The CDS Rx Pharmacy location at 860 Hard Road in Webster, NY, is now authorized to accept Medicaid.

“This authorization allows us to bill Medicaid and Medicaid HMO plans, and is an exciting step toward offering high quality pharmaceutical care to even more people in our community,” said Lucas Miller, Director of Pharmacy for CDS Rx. 

Miller noted that now that the CDS Rx Pharmacy is authorized to accept Medicaid, it is good news for anyone with a lower income, as well as for those individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have Medicaid.

There is no special process needed to use Medicaid at the CDS Rx pharmacy at Hard Road. Miller points out that all that is needed is a valid prescription for a Medicaid-covered item (for example: medications, durable medical equipment, or incontinence supplies) and the pharmacy is able to bill.
