Record Amount Raised for Warrior Salute Veteran Services Program at CDS Wolf Foundation Golf Tournament
WEBSTER, NY – The CDS Wolf Foundation hosted its 35th annual A Salute to Veterans Golf Tournament at Oak Hill Country Club on Monday, July 25, 2022. The more than 240 golfers, sponsors, and supporters came together and raised over $600,000 in support of the Warrior Salute Veteran Services program, setting a record for the most money raised in tournament history.
The Warrior Salute Veteran Services program provides case management and transitional housing supports to veterans struggling with addiction, diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, and military sexual trauma so they may transition back as vital members of their communities. The services are provided to the veterans at no cost to them.
“It’s always incredible to see the amount of support and compassion this community has for our nation’s heroes,” CDS Life Transitions President and Chief Operating Officer Andrew Sewnauth said. “Warrior Salute Veteran Services receives no federal, state, or local government funding. We depend on the generosity of donors like those who participated in our annual golf tournament to provide these vital services to the veterans who have given so much for our country.”
CDS Life Transitions would like to thank all of the golfers, community volunteers, and sponsors including title sponsor Christa Construction and presenting sponsors Idealease and Radec Electric.
