The CDS Wolf Foundation raises record $195,000 at 30th annual Teeing Off for Abilities Golf Tournament

Rochester, N.Y. – Jul. 17, 2017 – The CDS Wolf Foundation hosted its 30th Annual Teeing Off for Abilities Golf Tournament Monday, July 17th at Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford. The event raised a record amount of $195,000, higher than any tournament hosted by the Foundation.

Thank you to this year’s presenting sponsors, Relph Benefit Advisors and Christa Construction.

“We are so thankful to all the generous sponsors who supported this event and share our mission to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, people with chronic illnesses, seniors and veterans. We would not have achieved so much without them. Their dollars will go a long way toward assisting those we serve in receiving the services they need to be successful members of their communities.”

The event started with an opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m., in which the West Webster Fire Department color guard presented the flags and Brianna Collichio sang the national anthem. From there, the golfers began the tournament, stopped for lunch at the turn and returned after 18 holes for the dinner ceremony in which Todd Post, a Warrior Salute Veteran Services graduate, and a current veteran participant spoke. Golfers could bid on items at the silent auction throughout the day, and a live auction was held during dinner.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary under its parent company, CDS Life Transitions, the CDS Wolf Foundation—named in honor of CDS Monarch founders Lew & Phyllis Wolf—seeks donations to help support the growth and expansion of CDS Life Transitions’ community services and unfunded areas of need.
