CDS Wolf Foundation raises $195K from annual golf tournament

From Messenger Post Media:

CDS Wolf Foundation recently hosted its 30th annual Teeing Off for Abilities Golf Tournament at Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford, ultimately raising a record $195,000.

“We are so thankful to all the generous sponsors who supported this event and share our mission to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, people with chronic illnesses, seniors and veterans,” said a CDS Wolf Foundation spokesperson. “We would not have achieved so much without them. Their dollars will go a long way toward assisting those we serve in receiving the services they need to be successful members of their communities.“

The event started with an opening ceremony. West Webster Fire Department Color Guard presented the flags, and Brianna Collichio sang the national anthem. From there, the golfers started the tournament, stopped for lunch at the turn and returned after 18 holes for the dinner ceremony in which Todd Post, a Warrior Salute Veteran Services graduate and current veteran participant, spoke.
Golfers could bid on items at the silent auction throughout the day, and a live auction was held
during dinner.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary under its parent company, CDS Life Transitions, CDS Wolf Foundation seeks donations to help support the growth and expansion of CDS Life Transitions’
community services and unfunded areas of need.
